Check Out Taylor Drug Pharmacy, a Locally-Owned Business in American Fork

Corporate-owned pharmacies may be all over, but it's the smaller businesses that often provide better, more personalized service. Near our apartments in American Fork, that pharmacy is Taylor Drug Pharmacy.

Storied History

Taylor Drug was founded in 1936 by its namesake, Dave Taylor, who opened the shop on Main Street. It later came under the ownership of Ray Beasley, who moved the business to 76 N 1100 E in 1976, which is where Taylor Drug still operates to this day under the current ownership group of Rich Barton, Dan Barton, and Clayton Grace.

The store has been around for more than 80 years, but it still keeps up with the latest technology, utilizing its RxLocal mobile app to allow customers to easily and conveniently order prescription refills and monitor their prescriptions without having to go to the store. When a customer needs to pick up a prescription or do other shopping, though, Taylor Drug makes it easy to do that as well. The store is open seven days a week and offers a drive-up window so you can quickly pick up what you need.

Products and Services

The store carries a wide range of medical and health-related products -- including diabetes supplies, canes, walkers, knee scooters and wheelchairs -- as part of its goal to offer customers as much variety as possible as a one-stop shopping destination. Along those lines, Taylor Drug also offers flu shots seasonally and provides pharmacist counseling to answer customers' questions.

Taylor Drug, which was named the November 2018 Business of the Month by the American Fork Chamber of Commerce, is located just over a mile away from the Rivulet community, making it an ideal destination for your pharmacy needs. So be sure to contact us today to learn more.
